Vulnerabilidad de Seguridad UNAM-CERT-2011-033 Vulnerabilidad en la resolución de DNS que podría permitir ejecución remota de código

Esta actualización de seguridad resuelve una vulnerabilidad reportada de manera privada en la resolución de Microsoft DNS. La vulnerabilidad podría permitir ejecución remota de código si un atacante, tuvo acceso a la red y creó un programa personalizado para enviar consultas de broadcast LLMNR especialmente diseñadas a los sistemas destino.

    1. Vulnerabilidad en las consultas de DNS CVE-2011-0657

    Una vulnerabilidad de ejecución remota de código existe en la manera que el cliente del servicio de DNS manipula consultas LLMNR especialmente diseñadas. 

  3. Impacto

    1. Vulnerabilidad en las consultas de DNS CVE-2011-0657

    Un atacante que exitosamente explote esta vulnerabilidad podría ejecutar código arbitrario en el contexto de una cuenta de NetworkService. Un atacante podría entonces instalar programas: ver, modificar, o borrar datos, crear nuevas cuentas con todos los derechos de usuario.
